Our Story
Born in 2004 in Okahandja, Alicia Makoi was raised with the unwavering strength of a single mother her ultimate hero and role model. Witnessing her mother's resilience first-hand sparked Alicia's lifelong belief that the potential of Namibian women is boundless when supported by love and dedicated community mentorship.
Her journey of leadership flourished early, as she took on pivotal roles throughout her school years. Today, Alicia continues her academic pursuit as an Economics student at the Namibia University of Science and Technology (NUST), seeking ways to foster sustainable community growth and stable futures for the women she represents.
This deep-seated passion for empowerment led to the founding of Girls of Tomorrow Namibia. Alicia invites you to stand alongside her as a partner, donor, or supporter as we advocate for a brighter future. Your partnership is the catalyst for the next generation of dreamers and doers.
